A whole day at leisure in Alberobello to explore the town, famous for its unique trulli houses and to join an optional excursion to Ostuni. In Matera, visit one of the picturesque Sassi houses, and in Reggio Calabria visit the museum that houses the Bronzi di Riace, the world-famous bronze warrior sculptures. Next, cross the Strait of Messina by ferry and arrive in Sicily. In Taormina, visit the Greek Amphitheater, and enjoy two days at leisure with the possibility to join optional excursions to Mount Etna and Syracuse. A special dinner with wine and a breathtaking sea view has been included. Also enjoy a guided walking tour of the Valley of Temples in Agrigento, and in Palermo, guided sightseeing features the cathedral, and the Capo Market, and more, plus the Norman Cathedral in Monreale, to complete your exploration of Roman history. Later, visit an original Sicilian farm, meet the casaro, and see how he prepares fresh ricotta. Then enjoy a farewell dinner with local specialties and wine.
